There are many things that have adverse effects to our health than we may imagine. The truth is if we live in terrorist potential areas we will be in constant stress because we are not sure of tomorrow. When the body is stressed then it will not be able to function well which creates a good environment for diseases. When we are under stress we are likely to have: anxiety, restlessness, irritability or anger, and sadness or depression which is not good for our bodies. Many people react differently to stress but some of the common reactions include: over eating or under eating leading to weight loss or weight gain,  depression and angry outbursts, drug abuse, withdrawal and less exercising among many others. This leads to respiratory problems, digestion problems, acne and other skin conditions among many others. This is because when stress hormones are released it will affect the normal functioning of the body which may either inhibit the release of some hormones or over release of some hormones. That is why stress is linked to sickness. Stress has also been linked with headaches, muscle pain, and sleep problems.
